Alumni Class of  2015' Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu.

Renata Nepe|Class 15'

Class of 2015 Diploma student and current Kaimahi at Te Kohanga Reo o Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu. Renata has taken his qualification in Māori Performing Arts to write various Māori musical compositions and has applied these skills and knowledge to a Regional Kapa HakaCompetitions. Along side his love for composing music he has a hand for guitaring which has seen him performing in Kahurangi new Zealand Māori Dance Theatre throughout Aotearoa and also on the Ngāti Kahungunu Regional Stage. He now passes his knowledge on to our up and coming through Te Kohanga Reo.

Jordan McGreggor|Class of 15'

Class of 2015 Advanced Diploma student and current Kahurangi New Zealand Māori Dance Theatre Male Dance Captain. Jordan's qualifications in Māori Performing Arts has seen him doing back to back USA and North American tours becoming a cultural ambassador for Aotearoa.

Lisa Paenga|Class of 15'

Class of 2015 student and current Academic Director for Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu. Lisa has travelled extensively with Kahurangi New Zealand Māori Dance Theatre and also found herself working with our Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu as an admin. 

Tuakana Nikora|Class of 15'

Class of 2015 student and current Dance Captain for Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu and Kahurangi New Zealand Māori Dance Theatre. Tuakana has taken Māori Performing Arts to the world.

Alumni Class of  1998' Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu.

Karanema Huata|Class of 98'

Class of 1998 Bachelor student and current CEO of Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu. Karanema has taken her qualifications all around the world touring and Performance Managing with Kahurangi New Zealand Māori Dance Theatre one of the many career pathways that our Certificate , Diploma and Advance Diploma can helo you achieve.

Llanasa Peachey|Class of 98'

Class of 1998 Bachelor Student of Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu. Llanasa has used her qualifications to dance in some of Kahurangi Māori Dance Theatre's major Productions, she has also been apart of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Wananga Whare Tapere o Takitimu for many things to do with administration and as a kaimahi in the kura.

Warena Wainohu|Class of 98'

Class of 1998 Bachelor Student and Current Kaiako at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Wānanga Whare Tapere o Takitimu. Warena has starred in many of Kahurangi's major productions. He now works in our kura kaupapa nurturing our up and coming Māori Performing Artist.
